I used to frequent this ihop regularly with good service but the new manager is the worst. Time before this I did not complain but this time I feel it’s necessary. I took my son and 2 granddaughters today. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. It took 30 minutes to get our food. 20 minutes into eating I ask for a to go order of French toast sticks and fruit. 40 minutes we had finished eating and paid left a 20% tip waiting on the to go order. The waitress said the order was ready but her manager would not allow her to bring it out because it was out of sequence. 20 more minutes lapsed and I asked her again and she apologized and said the same thing. So knowing it’s been sitting back there 40 minutes I now don’t even want it. We proceeded to the front register and I said I wanted a refund for the to go order. At this time the assistance manager comes out and says he understands and goes back to kitchen. Mind you we still have not seen the manager the whole visit.The manager at this point has the nerve to make the assistant manager come out with the order. I told him I do not want it. I want a refund. Again he was very nice. Went back to tell the manager I wanted my refund. She still never had the decency to come out and apologize. Still made the assistant manager refund my money for the to go order and make him look bad. He was very nice and so was the waitress. But I will not be back nor will I have anything good to say about IHOP!!!!!!!
I waited for a hour and was told it would take 15 minutes there were 5 customers in the store, finally get my order and get home and nothing is right. They gave us a bag full of ketchup for French toast omelette and pot roast no syrup no sour cream or salsa like I asked for. The worst ihop to go to by far
They have definite management problems they don't operate very smart and it hurts their services. Instead of 2 pcs of toast you get one piece cut in half. One of many was the portions are shrinking as prices are going up.
Waited for about 15 to 20 minutes at the table we were seated at, and no waiter came at all, a few kept passing us by, finally asked one, their excuse was we split up tables. Then she finally went and found someone to work our table, who was like, why couldn’t she just grab it, but I’m happy to take care of you all.I could see if the restaurant was full, but there’s lots of open tables, so they weren’t too busy.Talk about making your customers feel unwelcome!
