El Coquito - Bridgeport

Delicious food and excellent customer service. I want to thank India for her kindness and courtesy. We definitely come back.

The four stars are for their frituras and authentic coquito ice cream. These items are the best I've had outside of my own mother and grandmother. I love it all. Their empanadas. Relleno de papá. Alcapurrias. Everything in that far left window is the BOMB!!!!! I can admit I am pickier with my rice. But the meats have been delicious so far. Had their pollo Al horno and it was delicious. Carne guisa was alright too. Just haven't been won over by the rice but wow. Everything else is delicious. You MUST get a coquito ice cream at the end of your visit. Or first!!!!! Yum!

I came here for the first time a couple of days ago and not only was the food incredibly good, but the place was immaculately clean. The staff was really friendly and patiently described the different items to me since I didn't know what some of the food was. You can tell there is a lot of care and attention that goes into running this restaurant and I will absolutely be back again.

Their beef cheese empanadas are insanely good. They make me want to sit on the television and watch my couch.

The food is good, but I ordered the rice and the beans with meat, which should be 12.99, but because it was to go, and I asked if they could put the beans on the side, they really had to charge me extra for the beans. The only place I was will benefit. So I pay $20 for an order of rice beans and a pork and 2 soda
