Frustrating experience turned into a pleasant surprise. I ordered one small pizza and cheesy bread for delivery, estimated delivery time, 30 minutes. Well 45 minutes later, I called to get an update. Associate was nice on the phone, he said sincethere was only two drivers, it was going to be a long wait. Was alittle frustrated but I told him I understood and that I?lljust go pick it up. When I got there I asked about taking off the delivery fee and applying the 3 dollar discount for picking itup. The manager came right up and comped the whole order for the inconvience! Everyone is understaffed right now. I gave thisstaff kindness and they gave it right back!
This is definitely my last time ordering from Domino's. I requested a Brooklyn-style pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni and onions, with light sauce. The way they made the pizza, it didn't even have half pepperoni and onions—it was basically all toppings. Plus, they cut it in such a messy way that every piece had either an onion or a pepperoni on it. There was also just a spoonful of sauce in the middle. I’m sticking with J&G from now on. May 3rd, 2022.
Tonight, Jolene delivered my order, and she was truly the sweetest person. It was raining, and she had a tough time locating my building. I went outside to meet her and noticed that in 40-degree weather, and despite the rain, she was delivering without a coat on. She hurried up, and I helped her with the delivery. She then informed me that she had given me a discount because it took a bit longer than expected—something she didn’t have to do! She explained that it was just her working tonight and offered her apologies for the delay. I know this is just a pizza order, but it’s people like her who really warm my heart. You can tell she is an incredibly hard worker, down-to-earth, and just an all-around sweetheart. We definitely need more people like Jolene in the world!
I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Steve at this restaurant. He was extremely rude and argumentative, especially when he couldn't confirm his location while delivering to my house. His lack of professionalism and poor customer service left me speechless. I can't believe I was treated this way. As someone who works with people daily, I know this is not how you should treat anyone—especially a manager! I felt disrespected as a customer. Steve insisted that I was wrong, and we all know that the customer is always right. I’m truly unhappy with both Steve and Domino's for employing someone with such terrible customer service skills. I can't believe he raised his voice at me—completely unacceptable.
