Woody's - Brentwood

I frequent this restaurant often while I am working. The ambiance is very welcoming and the staff are extremely attentive. My go-to order is the smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs and a milkshake, which is always delicious - so much so that I end up ordering two milkshakes. The cafe has a traditional feel to it and I have been a customer for 8 years despite some fake reviews and negative comments from a naysayer who predicted I would not last a year. However, I continued to visit until I decided I was too old to climb three flights of stairs all day. The owner of Woodys has done an excellent job keeping the establishment running, especially during the challenges of Covid and a recession. I highly recommend supporting her business. I have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The kitchen is clean and the food hygiene rating is 5 stars. The restaurant is always spotless, including the bathroom. I would give them a perfect 10/10 rating, and I'm sure you would too!

We stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon for quick drink and cake. The staff were great. We sat outside, and tea and chocolate cake were brought to us. The slice of cake was huge and very tasty. I would definitely recommend

I ordered a coffee and received a beige liquid in a cup. I couldn't tell if it was tea, coffee, or just hot water with milk. It was terrible! I decided to try this place instead of going to Costa. However, I ended up leaving and going to Costa for a coffee that actually tasted like coffee.

Friendly, welcoming and good food. Coffee is better than Costalot and cheaper. A great cafe and great value for money
