Great fresh authentic sushi and other Japanese dishes. Nice clean decor and fairly quiet (higher pricier than other restaurants). Beautiful presentation and great service.
The restaurant has a clean and lovely atmosphere, with outdoor seating available. The staff is friendly and efficient. The portion sizes of the food are generous. I really enjoyed the grilled broccoli that accompanied the beef and chicken teriyaki dishes. However, the sushi took quite a while to be served.
We always enjoy going out for sushi, and Kyuzou has become one of our favorites. The quality is consistently excellent, the sushi rolls are prepared quickly, and the flavor combinations are exciting. We particularly love the Rainbow Dragon rolls, while my kids insist on ordering everything topped with Tobiko (small fish eggs)! In fact, my 9-year-old chose Tobiko sushi as her meal for her birthday! The service is friendly and prompt, though not overly conversational. You can expect to ask a question and receive a brief, yet warm, response. It might go unnoticed if you're not prepared for it, but during several visits, I've come to appreciate this unique aspect of the restaurant's service style.
The sushi here is truly delicious, and I visited with K and B. The Four Seasons roll had an amazing sauce, and the other rolls featured really creative ingredients like cucumber and cabbage. The seaweed salad was also fantastic. The oysters we had stood out as well, which is definitely a good sign!
