Bidra med feedbackAlways the restaurant is busy. I would leave zero stars if I could.Sleepy service, poor food quality,
Great food and service as always! The best South Indian in London Wembley! No fancy stuff just reasonable and good food!
The good: food was spicy, tasted good and was piping hot. Very cheap £30 for two with beer. Busy, buzzing atmosphere. The bad: cafe was full and food took some time to arrive. Two of our dishes were being delivered to the wrong table when the waiter realised, took them back to the kitchen and brought them out to us two minutes later. I watched him in the mirror! Our sides dishes arrived half way through us finishing our mains. Bread we ordered arrived as we were finishing. Slightly chaotic and, frankly, it’s a minimum expectation that dishes that go together pretty much should be delivered together. This was at a Sunday lunchtime, before a big match, so things may be different at quieter times.
It's Srilankan food cooked with a generous amount of chilli powder, I will have to say.. the menu and the dishes on offer are good... But they have got it wrong with the amount of chilli powder they use. They think the more spicy they make it, the more authentic it gets...apart from that its good for an evening meal. The prices are okay too. Please don't expect anything in terms of service.
Had the Gaana special Kothu Roti and by far the best I have had. The food is spicy as it represents Sri Lankan cuisine perfectly and contains bursts of flavours.
