Bidra med feedbackI've always want to try this place out. But, they close early. Finally was able to give this place a try. Love the lunch special. 2 slices and a refillable coke for $10. Wait 6 minutes for fresh pepperoni slices for me and my son. Unfortunately the pizza was a miss. Barely any marinara on the pizza and the pizza was bland. Also the place was a little dirty. The service was great though.
While the atmosphere was slightly hostile and the decor leavening something to be desired. The food was freshly made and delicious. Took a little while to get out our calzones but it was well worth the wait. I am sure to be a regular at such a fine and tasty establishment.
I've only eaten here twice. The first time was out of curiosity, I had ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was godawful. Sloppy, every time I would pick up a slice the toppings would fall right off. The dough was unevenly cooked through, and the pizza itself was lopsided. The second time was when I ordered a sausage pizza, and I only ordered it because sausage is my favorite topping but oh my God was I disappointed even further: it was bland, the dough was mushy, it was if there was no seasoning on the pizza. If anything whatever I ate was not a pizza but rather, an amalgamation of meats, cheese that resembled a pizza. There is roughly a one year difference from my first time ordering pizza here and up to now, as I'm writing this review. After hearing there was a change in ownership of the pizzeria I would've hope there would be improvements to their recipes or at the least a change but unfortunately, it's continued the tradition of mediocrity. Even Lil Caesar's pizza is preferable to the mistake I made the misfortune of buying.
The pizza here is really good but they never seem to be open or taking orders when I'm looking. Website says open Sundays but they are not actually. They close at 7 but you can't place an order line after 6. Phone doesn't seem to work. If you can actually get an order in, do it, because the pizza is really tasty.
I caught this place on a lunch special, so I'm not sure how long before the order the pizza was made, but of course they reheat it before serving. It was somewhat decent, but not much sauce if any and not much cheese. Kind of dry and full of oregano. Likely better fresh, but doesn't compare to most pizza I've had.Evergreen pizza down the street is miles above this place with a much better ambiance and a front row view of the park.
