Restaurant Fiedler - Bremerhaven

We enjoyed this restaurant. We popped in around 1600 on a recommendation from the hotel we were staying at, this place had a full list of reservations but we were early enough they fit us in. While there they turned away 3-4 parties. The food was excellent. The starter was a pleasant surprise, even my children enjoyed it. We had a variety of choices from a mixed fish platter to the steak and shrimp platter and our children had the potato pancakes. Fine location and great history, stop by all of their locations along the fish haven.

Whilst staying in Bremen we were advised to take the train to Bremerhaven and enjoy the seafood in the Schaufenster area. I’m delighted we chose to visit. The food we had in Fiedler was top quality and the service was excellent. We had a very good dry Riesling to accompany the food. There are quite a few restaurants in the same area. I can definitely recommend this restaurant as our eating experience was very good. We made 1 mistake which was thinking ‘Krabben’ was crab when it’s actually small shrimps. A good mistake though as the shrimps were really tasty.

I visited this restaurant during my visit to Bremerhaven for my daughter’s trip to Semester at Sea. Food was excellent, service was excellent and the server spoke English which was very helpful!!

We were on business for three weeks. We ate on the quais most nights the Fiedler was my favourite. You can eat good fish dishes for a very good price. Very friendly efficient staff. My favourite kind of restaurant good food for honest prices.
