Eiscafé Coccato - Bremerhaven

After a tour of the shops and museum ships etc. we were desperate for a cool drink. Whilst this place is predominately for ice cream fans, a quick glance at the menu cards showed a fair choice of soft drinks, beers, cocktails, both the normal options and non-alcoholic. So the decision was made and nice cool cocktails were ordered for me and my wife. Although quite busy the service was quick and friendly and well worth our staying for a drink. Ideal spot in the mall to give yourself a break and if you have children they'll be spoilt for choice, a must try!

Visited Gelateria Coccato at the shopping mall Mediterraneo. Selection was huge and ice cream of very good quality plus a very nice setting the inside the food court of the shopping mall

We stopped in here for a quick dessert in between touring the nearby museums. The iced coffee was VERY GOOD! This is the first iced coffee I 've had while in Europe and I wasn 't expecting it to have ice cream in it! No wonder it was so good. Coffee at the bottom, a layer of ice cream, and finished off with whipped cream with some chocolate cocoa beans and chocolate powder. It was AMAZING!!! We also had the kiwi ice cream which was very good and a huge portion of ice cream served in a lovely glass dish. The service was prompt and the waitress was pleasant.

We were in the mediteraneo. there you will find under the large glass dome the gelateria coccato. you sit around the fountain right under the dome. that is very cozy. even if a lot is going on, the noise level is so that you can talk very well at the table. the ice card is very diverse. the prices are in the absolutely acceptable frame. and if that comes then, it is confirmed that the visit is worth it. visually beautifully dressed, tastefully exquisite and friendly served. what do you want?

We ordered ice cream and cocktails.Last came only after the others had already fed their ice cream. this is a pity and should not happen in such a large and establish gelateria.
