Bidra med feedbackMy friend and I came to this place in jan we had great authentic Indonesian cuisine. the owner himself served us and he gave a special sambal or chili sauce that was made by himself. ambiente is beautiful and service was great. pity that I heard. from the owner he can close this place as he has done it for years and is too old to continue.
I remember in the seventies this place. very simple chairs and stool, but eat very well. excellent for the money they pay and still care the same guy. must make a lot of things right. Congratulations.
I went with friends here and we really enjoyed the retro vibe of this place. the beverage prices (independent of alcohol or not) are very reasonable. the food prices are average, but we were all really satisfied with our meals. I can recommend any of the peanut sauce dishes. it is definitiw family friendly. make sure they book a table when they want to come at the weekend - it is a popular local restaurant.
They offer Indonesian eating, i like most of them, especially nasi goreng. the place is small and it will confuse them for the first time. but overall it is worthy.
I think it is a nice restaurant but it takes some time for them to served you. Is not the best restaurant in the world and is not the worst. According to one Indonesian friend it is more neutral asian than Indonesian, but I guess...unless you were in Indonesia you can notice the difference.
