Restaurant Port - Bremen

Have been there with kid for a quick bite while sightseeing. The kitchen on saturday noon time was not really ready for a bunch of folks. It took some time and was more for a serious lunch than quick bite. Food was good but my bouillabaisse not really warm. Setting conveniant and nice atmosphere. I could observe that the manager was not happy with the waiter so no reason for me to complain as he knows his problem. I believe they can do a much better job than that on saturday noon time. Worth a try for dinner.

....but not in a I need to come back kind of very good. Solid food, well prepared, well presented. Service also very nice, always attentive. The decoration inside is somewhat modern with a maritime theme (as to be expected with a restaurant that is called Port . The menu does not reflect this maritime expectation created though. The current menu has only four fish dishes and those aren 't anything that knock me off my feet. Instead I find antipasti, pizza, steak and so forth. Again, all well prepared, well servced but it does not trigger a must come back reaction.

This was the nicest evening meal we had during our break in Bremen. The food was really good, beautiful flavours, good sized portions and very nicely presented. We enjoyed everything we had. The staff were friendly and relaxed

I also have to get rid of my review: I was now more often in the old walls of the harbour building and am always surprised positiw. be it for a simple dinner, for Christmas celebration in the room or for brunch. always very tasty eating in a successful ambiente. the rustiness of the old building was bred by individual highlights without which it looks overloaded. the service staff were always nice and friendly and also special requests when eating were never the problem. all in all, they always spend a successful evening with friends or with a date. many thanks to the entire harbour team. I have to try again.
