Bedingfeld Arms - Breckland

After having many delicious Sunday lunches here this was so disappointing. No side vegetables which usually consist of red cabbage creamed leeks or cauliflower cheese. Veg consisted of one carrot, one parsnip and small portion of green cabbage and peas. No tasty gravy, very bland. No mashed potato either. I was told there was a new chef. I have emailed with my thoughts but no reply.

Had a very functional stopover here and was pleasantly surprised by the place. Really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. What did stand out was the most excellent breakfast served by Andrew whose knowledge and love of the area was quite infectious, giving us some interesting background to the hotel and restaurant but also other points of interest. Definitely will be returning.

Fabulous food and great atmosphere. Highly recommend Very friendly and relaxed but professional service. Will definitely be back.

Our family of 13 met up for pre Christmas Sunday lunch. We were seated in the conservatory which was perfect for us as we had children in the party. The food was excellent and serving staff were very attentive. Also ideal as the children could play in grass area outside. We were so impressed we plan to return next Christmas
