Bidra med feedbackMy husband and I both ordered the pad thai jay at this restaurant and found it difficult to eat. While it was full of flavor, it lacked any real taste. We had to drown it in soy sauce to give it some flavor. Additionally, it was quite expensive for the poor quality. Overall, we would not recommend this dish.
We were SO glad that Bangkok Happy Bowl was open during the 'mud season. ' So many restaurants are closed that it can be difficult to find a place for dinner. There are six clearly labeled vegan mains on the menu. In addition, there is veggie sushi as an option. Despite being busy (we arrived during happy hour: 2-for-1 appetizers), our waiter was very helpful and willing to ask the kitchen questions regarding the items not labeled 'vegan ' on the menu. Vegan appetizers: Fresh roll (without shrimp), Tofu Tod (but is fried in common oil), Edamame and Gyoza (get steamed for totally vegan). We ordered the Edamame and fried Gyoza to take advantage of the 2-for-1 deal. Both were really good--the Edamame was a fairly large portion. And, it was nice to have the fried dumplings--it 's been a while. Of the vegan mains, the restaurant will add tofu for no extra charge. We ordered the Panang Curry tofu and the Eggplant Lover. We really enjoyed the entrees although the curry could have been hotter. The eggplant was delish--very tender, great flavor. We weren 't done eating yet! We asked the waiter about dessert. He checked with the kitchen and they had vegan Mango Sticky Rice! One of our favorites. Needless to say, we were stuffed. We totally enjoyed our meal. It was amazing to have so many choices on the menu in a small mountain town.
This lively and enjoyable restaurant is located on Main Street. They have a separate vegan section on their menu. The Pad Thai was unique compared to others we have tried, but still very tasty. The ginger tofu stir fry was also delicious.
The hotel is located on the front and was too foot from our rental. full bar, great personal, beautiful decor and large portions. they have vegan specific section on menu that includes pad thai. that's a huge plus! to lunch. Unfortunately it cost us over $50 (with tipp) to lunch. Ouch! this included pad thai, aubergine dish and hot tee. yes, that is a resort community, so I expect to pay more, but I wish they had a lunchtime part available. on the flip side are the portions large and brown rice is an option without additional charge. others are recommended that I wish they had authentic tee against tee bag. lost the authentic Thai mood. and tw with housewives and sport was also a distraction not necessary. will I have gone to eat? yes. actually, friends want to go to dinner tomorrow because we told them that eating is good. simply share some “recommendations” to lunch. - wing back to dinner. had some vegan appetizers and also tried tempura sweet potato roll and another vegan entree as they also have a sushi bar. make sure they give them all sauces for the roasted tofu starter. it is called in the menu, but we only have one until we point it out. the gurkensoße is fabulous. also make sure that the server asks them what level of Spice they want to do. our server asked us yesterday and it made a difference. we have increased the seasoned to medium. the server of tonight did not ask our friends (on the same aubergine dish we ordered yesterday) and it was not so tasteful. updated by previous review on 2022-02
During the week I spent in breckenridge my man and I had bangkok happy bowl three times. due to the pandemic we avoid restaurants, and bangkok happy bowl offers a good vegan choice (and to-go cocktails.) they have a vegan section on their menu, the panang curry, one of my favorite dishes that is often not vegan. it was tasteful and had a lot of sweet, with tofu added (this costs extra) their dishes are served with a rice mix that is delicious. also the ginger tour is good. we tried the curry buffer remover who was good, but were a little disappointed that it came only with two small noodles. we did not ask if one of the dishes from the vegan section could be made vegan. That would be great because the vegan section is small, but since we were just a week there we never asked. this is a good option for vegan in breckenridge.
