I almost never write bad reviews (look me up - it's true). But when I do, there are many reasons why. We had a fantastic seafood dinner on the patio at this restaurant in PEI. The service was excellent and the location was very convenient to where we were staying.

I'm surprised this restaurant doesn't have a higher rating!A group of us had a lovely meal here today. The restaurant is beautiful inside, with air conditioning, but we dined on the patio.I had French onion soup and a Caesar salad. A day could never be too hot for French onion soup, right? Both the soup and salad were excellent, and everyone seemed pleased with their meals. Service was a little slow but that's to be expected with a larger group. Recommended!

Sutherland's was truly a hidden gem. We were staying at a cottage in Malpeque and came three times in a week. The staff was very attentive and accommodating, the best Island hospitality. The lobster dip and the seafood bubbly bake were my favorites but I also recommend the ribs, burger and haddock. I have never had potatoes taste so good. My family of six all agreed, best meal on our PEI vacation.
