My grandchild went to Burdocks in Bray today,,ordered fish gujons and chips for her and fresh cod and chips for myself,,,the cod was so thin that most of the piece was a very nasty batter , overcooked with no seasoning ,,,chips did not taste fresh,,the gujons were much better ,chunky fish but very dry,,,,roughly 34 for that meal with water...very bad value,,,I will not be back,,there are much better chippers in Bray

It's a little expensive. The staff is not friendly at all and they never want to give lemons, how is it possible that they don't give lemons if even in the photos they have of their products the fresh cod has lemons the drinks have to be bought at the pub next door. Avoid. It's overpriced for a start. Cod and chips is €15.95 It's €10 from Henry Rose which is just steps away (and streets ahead). You can't buy the soft drinks. Don't ask. You have to go inside the bar to get drinks of any kind except water. Why display them?? They were out of mushy peas and the fish came with no lemon slice. They said they had none when asked (even though there's a lemon slice in all of the photos on the menu). The onion rings were ok as were the chips and fish but none held a candle to Henry Rose.
