Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill - Brantford

I wasn't sure what to expect at Crabby Joe's, but I was pleasantly surprised by their menu options. The kitchen was accommodating and allowed me to create a custom main course from their $25 set menu. The Chicken Harvest Bowl was delicious, and I recommend that Crabby Joe's add it to their regular menu. Our server Emma was fantastic - attentive, friendly, and welcoming. She made our lunch experience even better. Thank you to the team at Crabby Joe's in Brantford!

I wouldn't be eager to come back here, even if they had specials. That's saying something because I usually appreciate a good deal. What I can't stand is having unnecessary negative interactions with the staff.

Was our son's birthday on 19. July, so we went there after 9:00 to use the 1/2 appetizers. As usual they NOT DISAPPOINT!!! The food was fresh and hot! The restaurant was 75% capacity for those who say it was not busy because it was. The server was very attentive, as our glasses were no more than 30 seconds empty. We're going back. Yes, prices have risen a bit, but in another restaurant I know that the price of food has risen a ridiculously since COVID and am surprised that their prices are more! Go on!

The prices have risen since the last time, the selection of food has expired and seems as if the employees all hate their jobs and customers are an inconvenience for them! Not a place I want to spend with my family or friends and if I look at the previous reviews, it seems many others have the same problems as me.

I used to be a regular customer at this restaurant until yesterday afternoon when I witnessed an incident involving one of your servers (whom I have known before as Coleen). The server made a derogatory comment towards a family who had only been in the restaurant for a short period of time, telling a customer that she would not be served alcohol because she appeared to have been drinking all night. This was an incredibly inappropriate and hurtful thing to say. The family appeared well-dressed and did not seem to have been drinking excessively, especially considering it was only 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I saw the woman who was accused of looking disheveled walk to her car and wipe off her makeup with tears in her eyes. There was a confrontation between the family and your staff, but the staff refused to let the family speak or provide any explanation for Coleen's comment. I am absolutely appalled by what I witnessed and will not be returning to this restaurant, and I will make sure to share this story with others to prevent them from patronizing your establishment as well.
