Gettin' Basted - Branson

The food is good..HOWEVER, I ordered burnt ends that looked like chunks on chuck roast slow smoked without any type of char on them…Never had burnt ends like that..not that it was bad but just know what to expect. The potato salad is good. The corn wasn't as good as our last visit..a little mushy. My husband's pulled pork was very chewy..not tender at all. I would still give this spot another try. Our first visit was excellent and I couldn't wait to try it again..this experience was not close … – show

My husband and I eat out a lot including bbq. This restaurant was good but not quite as good as some where we eat or have eaten. Maybe, it was what we ordered. My husband had the burnt end sandwich, and I had a pulled pork sandwich. His burnt ends were good he said but not as good as other places, and my pulled pork was pretty chunky. Otherwise, everything was great. And, we enjoyed the veteran coming and checking on us and visiting with us.

Pork had no flavor. BBQ sauce also had no flavor. Wings were the only good thing but you can’t mess up wings. I would not recommend this or anything on the strip.

Best barbecue in branson bar none…great staff and excellent food. The sides are amazing and the meat doesn't disappoint

My wife and I ate lunch at Gettin' Basted during our four day vacation in Branson. It was so good, we came back two days later. This, despite the huge selection of other first rate restaurants in Branson. The meat was delicious. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was and decor was first rate. If you're in Branson, eat here before you eat anywhere else. You won't regret it.
