The stories Meg could tell from the 47… let me say that again, 47 YEARS she’s been working here!! The food was just as great as the staff. Nearly everything is made from scratch here. The fish and chips was among the best we’ve had in our travels and the codfish sandwich was also top notch. So good that we ordered something to go, because we knew we couldn’t go wrong if they were recommending it- the Chicken Francaise Hoagie. The head chef has even been here 30 years so the consistency is going to be unparalleled. We will let you know after we come back for our next visit because now, there’s no way we will be passing up this place when we’re in town!
Walked right in on a busy Friday evening, sat down and had a great dinner…prime rib- which was tremendous and ribs- were excellent. Great menu to chose from. Service was great and we all had a good time. Highly recommend.

Great food, huge portions. Shout out to Jose. He made my family feel like valued guests. It was a bit loud because of the tight quarters and bar in the front. We all enjoyed the fried calamari as an appetizer. Recommend the linguine alfredo with chicken, penne vodka with sausage, the fish (cod) and chips, brownie ala mode and apple crumb cake.
Super great service from Dave and Jose. Very friendly and attentive guys, and Dave complimented me on my choice of sammich. And he was correct, it was great! Nice homey environment, and even though I wasn't drinking I noticed a nice selection of beers available. I will definitely be back! ?
