Bidra med feedbackIf you are looking for a pub in Brampton, then Up Yer Kilt is the place to be. It has a cozy atmosphere that brings to mind the characters Cliff and Norm from Cheers. When I walked in, I was surprised to see that it was packed with patrons enjoying themselves. The owner even kindly offered me a seat at the bar. The menu was small, written on a card and a blackboard above the bar. I decided to try the Stew, which was hearty and reminiscent of Chunky Soup. I washed it down with a perfectly poured Guinness by an Italian (?) bartender. The conversation with strangers was lively and enjoyable, making for a great lunch break. I would recommend Up Yer Kilt for those in need of a beer fix, although the food may not be the highlight. Cheers to a good time at this pub!
Interesting decor and knick knacks everywhere. This place has a real "Neighbourhood Pub" feel. The patrons seem like regulars. Heck, I felt like a regular after a couple visits.Good pub grub and very well poured pints. Try the Guinness. The ex-pat Brits are the regulars and that's what give this place it's authenticity as a fine British Pub in Brampton.
Up Yer Kilt has been voted the favorite place for couples to enjoy an evening out in a venue that is unique, welcoming, and caters to a middle and high-end clientele. My family, friends, and acquaintances have all visited UYK and left amazed. Promised to return another night. The kitchen presents food fare with flair and presentation. Though the menu is limited there is always Irish Stew, Shepards Pie. Wings. Roast or Corned Beef sandwiches on thick, fresh bread with butter, fish and chips, and more. On Fridays live music is featured with Billy Campbell and his covers of contemporary hit tunes...everyone sings along. The place is spotless with the washrooms being one of a kind. Many special artifacts abound from traditional English prams to Larry, Curly & Moe, for example. Many times I have enjoyed amemorable time at Up Yer Kilt.
If you are searching for a pub in Brampton, look no further than Up Yer Kilt. This place is no joke and will leave you laughing so hard you'll have tears streaming down your face.
I recently visited this restaurant with some friends for a few drinks. I must give credit to The Kilt.
