Scotty Bons Caribbean Grill - Brampton

We really enjoyed Scotty Bons in Etobicoke on the Queensway and figured we would try this location. But the food portion was lacking in comparison to the other location. They barely filled the container of the rice and toppings and gave two smaller pieces of chicken. The Etobicoke location filled up the container and had plenty of chicken in the serving size. Staff not as friendly as the other location either. Service: Take out

The taste is good but the portions are so incredibly inconsistent. At times the portions are what they should be for the price, however more often than not there is literally once 1-2 scoops of rice and side veggies, along with a few meat pieces. I understand you get what you pay for but for $15-$20 it should take me more than a bite or two to see the bottom of the container especially true if you’re ordering from a food delivery service. I was craving a patty and tinnels was closing so I went to google and this spot came up. Someone wrote how it is better than Tinnels so I’m like ok, that’s a big statement, let me try it. I decided to also get the stuffed patty. When I got to my car and had a bite of the patty, I was like what is this. It lack’s beef, it’s nothing like Tinnels. I was soooo disappointed. Then I opened up the stuffed patty and coco bread, ooooomg. It was worse. I’m like nooooooo. Nope. That just didn’t give nothing. I will definitely not come back because this spot is just not it, I’m sorry to say. For the lack of all this now, I need to go to Patty time in Scarborough tomorrow.

The food is delicious. The portions large. It was a wonderful treat and a great experience. The young lady behind the counter was a customer service expert. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
