Bidra med feedbackHighly recommend the goat stew, red red w/fried plantain and the fried snapper. Server was very attentive and my husband (who is Ghanaian) and I loved the food!! Prices were very reasonable. Food took a bit of time, but it was worth the wait.
Very great presentation , and clean place, I'm not too sure about the food. Parking is somewhat a problem since it is in the heart of the city
This restaurant deserves 5 stars! Food and service is amazing! Went there with some friends(4 of us) and everything we had was delicious. Food presentation was beautiful, food tasted great and price was very reasonable! Will definitely recommend it to friends and family. A great place to try African food with a twist. Chef Kwame keep up the great work! Best wishes for success!!!
We had a lovely lunch meeting at this restaurant this afternoon. The ambience was fun and casual, with a large screen playing non-stop music videos of African hits. The owner and head chef Kwame seated us with humble greetings and a quick timely offer of menus.The Coconut Shrimp was a tasteful starter with large juicy shrimp covered in crisp shredded coconut batter. With the perfect balance of sweet and savoury, the shrimp was complimented with a bed of mango salsa and a spicy shito pepper mayo sauce.The Fried Yams and Snapper fish was lightly salted and fried to crisp golden perfection. The Stewed Oxtail with Waakye (pronounced watcheh) Rice was a generous serving of comfort and subtle spice. Both entrées had a side of tangy red cabbage coleslaw.The restaurant was beautifully decorated with African art pieces featuring a themed Golden Stool and small stage area which was well incorporated in the space. The bar was large and the colourful bar lighting was a nice touch. The washrooms were very well maintained with the gold motif throughout. This space is well set up for a mid-day lunch to dinner but also easily transitions into a star-worthy lounge/party venue.
My wife and I decided to go out tonight for a new taste test, we tried and really enjoyed this restaurant. When wecentered we were greeted my one of the owners who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. I explained my dietary needs (vegan) and she made a suggestion which was excellent. My wifes dinner was long to come out but the owner kept us informed on how long until her chicken was ready.I hope this place really takes off and succeeds.
