Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant itself is typical Portugees with the tradional kitchen.The waiter was friendly and service was good.We ordered an steak veal grilled, the platter was served with fresh tomato and peeled potato.The food was good and well prepared.Price-quality this restaurant is correct.
At first se quite liked the place and the owner's quirkyness of insisting of choosing himself what we would eat. When the food arrived we were quite disappointed with it. It was really bad, clearly reheated stuff. Then came the bill and it was surprisingly high since the average price for a dish was 6 euros. After we paid we realised what he had done. He charged all starters triple the price (we were a party of 5) even though he served only single portions. Basically it means we paid around 90 euros more. It was the worst and most expensive meal, by far, of our 12 day trip. It left us all with a bad taste in our mouths in more ways than one.
We had a lovely dinner in this place. The food (veal and lamb as main dishes, some typical sausage and salad as starters, plus dessert and coffee) was delicious, and the wine was memorable. The waiter was very courteous and gave us good advice and explanations about the various specialities. And in the end we only spent around 15€ each...!
