Bidra med feedbackDiscovered Ferreira Capa for lunch early on during my week in Braga, and returned several times for lunch, breakfast or just a coffee. Close to the main town square, but just far enough away to be at a distance from the big crowds and pricier 'tourist trap ' restaurants. Good menu with a constantly-changing selection of very reasonably-priced lunchtime specials. Great service, and a lovely terrace to sit outside and enjoy people-watching!
I visited this place just after 6pm and was given a menu that only had ice cream and other sweets. When I said that I wanted some proper food for dinner, I was given a different menu and shown the page with toasted sandwiches and told that the kitchen was now closed so toasted sandwiches were the only option. I admit that it was nice but only as a snack. Not so much an evening dinner. I would have thought 6pm would be exactly the time of day when the kitchen would be serving food. In summary, nice food for a snack but check the opening hours if you want a proper meal.
On the advice of another review we shared the Brunch (9.50€ and even then couldn't eat it all. Service was a bit offhand to begin with but the waitress soon warmed up a bit. Would recommend as a good value breakfast stop
