This had only been open a month when we visited hence the few reviews but it shows great promise. The restaurant is part of a hotel and is in one of the old heavy stone buildings which has been superbly restored to combine its original character with a modern sleek aesthetic. The result is very impressive. The menu too combines tradition with modern tastes. We had the salt cod, a staple in Portugal, but it was beautifully done with soft sweet onion with a hint of what may have been Port wine on a bed of thick cut rounds of fried potato. It was really delicious as were the deserts of quark cheesecake with marinaded pineapple and red pepper and a reinvented egg custard pudding with caramel crumble. Some very friendly and efficient service made for a really memorable evening.
Ambiente muito agradável e comida muito boa. Super indico esse lugar. O proprietário Sr. Alberto muito simpático, atencioso e com boas dicas dos pratos. Vale muito a pena!
