Bidra med feedbackThe cakes are really good and complete coeliac-proof! We had two because we couldn't stop eating: I would recommend this place to everyone, especially for gluten-free food. The staff is very friendly, know what they are talking about and speak English.
Now this is a place worth the trip. If you live in Porto, take the 1 hour long train ride to Braga, visit the Cathedral and visit Bonna because it is fantastic. You have magic with Gf ingredients, and make a puff pastries do things I have never seen do a gluten-free dough. The cream puff has crispy, various layers and delicious filling. It even comes in a chocolate version. I'll think about this thing for a long time after I'm back home. As a home baker I feel like Salieri at the end of Amadeus to realize that he will never compare. How did they do that? I don't know, but it's still amazing to see.
Situated very near to the cathedral. Large choice of savoury and sweet cakes and pastries to eat there or take away. Also cooked food to order. My husband had a hamburger and had chicken, chips and salad. We enjoyed a bottle of GF lager. The food was beautifully seasoned and prepared.
Amazing spot in Braga! They were also able to recommend a dinner spot for us.
Great red velvet cake! Not so good chocolate muffin. Then have bola de Berlim
