Royal Oak - Bradford

Been going here years. Went for the first time in a long time Saturday I lost my phone and it was handed into staff then returned to me honest and friendly staff here highly recommend

Resident in Co Durham these days but an occasional visitor to the area I popped in here with Diane for a late afternoon drink at the weekend. The place seemed rather run down from past visits and Diane was unwell after only one drink which she commented didn't taste anywhere near as good as round the corner at Percy Vears (Guiness Lime). The generally tatty furniture and chewing gum stuck on the fireplace which wasn't recent! made us wonder under what conditions the beer is kept, or maybe we had a dirty or wet glass? Whatever the reason I don't think we'll be visiting anytime soon.

I visited this restaurant for lunch and was impressed by the delicious and affordable food. The staff, Leah and Kelly, provided excellent service. Even though I am not local to the area, I would definitely come back without hesitation.

I have visited this restaurant a few times in the past just for cocktails. The bartenders are friendly, and they offer a great variety of drinks.

Further to my previous review, the Landlord was faultless, will try a weekend in near future. Enjoyed my visit today.
