It has been two years since out last visit and things have changed with new owners. What has not changed is the quality of service and food. Our Sunday lunch from start to finish was excellent. All courses tasty and well presented by staff who were knowledgeable and.very efficient. We will not be waiting too long before we return.

If you get the chance it’s a must to visit the box tree for Sunday lunch . Perfect perfect perfect Tremendous value for money for the grade of food wine service received . Glowing with happiness after a truly magnificent Sunday lunch. Superb service and the food was faultless. Gorgeous scallops with cauliflower, a generous and perfectly cooked main of rare, roast beef, washed down with the best Pomerol I’ve had this year. (The 1997 one) A peach soufflé and Australian dessert wine was the final hurrah of gargantuan proportions I hope the quality of the box tree remains relative hush hush, so I can get a table in the future. **** Marvellous!
