Haven Espresso House Stafford

After I read the very positive reviews of this cafe, I was confused how Zomato worked out the average review score of 2.8 so explored it this morning. Well, vibe gave me a very warm feeling of having breakfast at home. Service was good from the nice couple who l believe should be the owners. It was my first time that I had coffee made from the Bear Bone although I drove past the original Bear Bone’s cafe many times in the Valley. Coffee was made under the option of strong one but it was slightly under to satisfy my palate. However, it was smooth with strong fragrance. The scramble egg with smoked salmon came in a huge portion and I could not finish it so decided to give up the bread. Loved to have the capers on top of the smoked salmon that gave enough saltiness to the dish. Overall, I will rate this cafe 4/5 but definitely not 2.8

Haven is always friendly, has good inexpensive food (try the dill and feta eggs on toast. Yum! and really nice coffee. Great vibe. Also very welcoming for families with colouring books for the kids and don't judge us when we finish and the table looks like the kids have set off an atomic bomb.

Good local cafe with nice strong coffee. Simple breakfast options which were very fresh and tasty. Funky decor and nice staff. Will be back also you must try the homemade raspberry jam, perfect level of tartness and not super sweet.

Fantastic coffee, stopped in for 2 takeaway lattes, one was on alternative milk one full cream. Both were made perfectly, service was good and a very reasonable price. Highly recommend a coffee from this cafe
