Fantastic eating experience ! The steak was beautiful, paired with a Barolo and all the sides ordered were delicious. I don’t usually call out a “favourite place” but after dining here I will make this my go-to for steak in Brisbane. Thanks to Les, Chef and the team.

I was lucky enough to try the Chianina beef for the first time and l absolutely loved it. . Florentine Italian Grill is the only restaurant in Queensland to provide the world-class Chianina beef cuts so if your curious like me and love good qualify beef than get yourself down to Florentine Italian Grill Wine. Not only is the food amazing but the service is also so sweet and lovely.

This is a hidden restaruant in Newstead. I had dinner here with my partner last week, food was great the steaks were quite amazing and if you like wine the italian wine selection here is absolutely amazing. Service was great, waiters were all very friendly.

Steak has always been a dish I preferred to eat at home– the precise temperature and done-ness I look for is just so hard to describe to a restaurant, I often leave disappointed. Florentine nailed it. Not only was the signature T-Bone Bistecca Fiorentina I had cooked exceptionally, but the accompanying broccolini and potatoes complemented the beef well. The Sangiovese I ordered was exactly what I expected, and my host commended me for my choice.<br/ <br/ This brings me to the second, and perhaps most important feature of Florentine– the service. Les was both engaging and enthusiastic about Chianina steak, giving us a brief but interesting history about the meal we were eating. His attentive and heartfelt passion for the food at Florentine made my experience here a pleasure.<br/ <br/ I look forward to returning.
