Bidra med feedbackThe Amar bakery is a functioning Mediterranean bakery and Togo restaurant. To prevent this review, I stopped because I had received a gift certificate. I would probably never have come otherwise and I am not sure that I will return because the menu is extremely small and if you are not a coffee drinker or pastry eater, this is probably not the place you would love. With this said, I thought the place was nice and clean inside, although the shopping center where this is pretty sketched. There are no indoor tables and only 2 very small 2-person tables outside on the walkway of the parking lot. The service was nice, but a little slow. I ordered the chicken pit Wrap, and it was made to order. Most other menu items are prefabricated and brought into the oven for heating. My sandwich was rolled into a large Pita bread dish that was much too big for the amount of chicken, salad and pickle in it. Honestly, for a $10 sandwich that had less than 3 ounces of meat that was not from a kebab, the value was not there for the portion size.
Amar Bakery and Market is a local bakery north of Boynton Beach Blvd and Federal Highway. Your baked goods are delicious. I had a chocolate croissant and a cup of coffee. Both were amazingly tasteful and over par. There are a few tables out there, but usually offer takeout. I'll go back there.
My husband and I ordered icy latte and a rose water cinnamon roll. The bats were very good love for the brattier they use. The rose water cinnamon roll was delicious. The pastries themselves were so fluffy and moist. Cinnamon and sugar almost caramelized on the ground. Presentation was also beautiful with rose petals above. The only thing I would say was that I would have loved the cinnamon to come more as the rose is so strong, but my husband said the opposite, so maybe it's perfect! Lol. I will say I would like to try one of their croissants, which is so well based on the dough of the cinnamon roll!
I recently visited amar bakery and cafe in boynton beach and was blown away by the delicious smell of fresh bread and pastries as soon as I went in the door. the caffe itself was warm and welcoming, with a cozy atmosphere that made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. apropos coffee the cappuccino was especially good at amar. it was rich and creamy, with the perfect balance of espresso and steamed milk. the cappuccino was also presented beautifully. besides the coffee I also tried some of the baked goods in amar and was impressed by the quality of the baked goods. in particular the croissants were fluffy and buttery, with a delicate, crispy crust. Overall, I would recommend amar bakery and cafe for anyone looking for a cozy place to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and some fresh baked baked pastries. the friendly staff and the welcoming atmosphere only added the entire experience.
Cute little bakery. We got a falafel to go that was okay. Only issue was that there were flies near the front counter including on the croissants and pastries and the girl behind the counter just ignored them. It wasn't possible not to see them. There were a bunch.
