Restaurante Cabana Arco Iris del Lago

Old house made in restaurant by the lake around the point of Playa Blanca. Eating is good. Beautiful location with a port and a very small beach. The road to the restaurant is narrow and hope that you will not come a car in the other way.... You can park near the top of the hill. We took a day trip to Laguna de Tota (Playa Blanca) and decided to eat for lunch. While there was a restaurant right on Playa Blanca, we decided to find Arco Iris del Lago, which seemed to have better reviews (at least on Google Maps)....After Playa Blanca, while you look over the lake, you begin to go left and follow what looks like a way for 100-200 meters or so. You will finally see a sign for Arco Iris del Lago with an arrow to the left and you will come to the restaurant. You can also here from the main road (there is a highway), but the path is the direct route from the beach. The interior of the restaurant is very cozy, and it lies directly on the lake with excellent views. The menu is a bit expensive for this part of Colombia, but you pay for seclusion and ambience. Trucha (trout) dishes were between COP$24,000-30,000, but they also have cheaper chicken dishes (about $15,000). The drinks were relatively cheap: $4,000 for a jugo natural and $1,000 for a coffee. Our entire bill for two trout entrees and two drinks was $57,000. The food was very good, although the trout was a bit good for our tastes (the middle was tender and juicy, but the outer parts were overhauled). It was nice to eat our lunch and the white ducks / geese swim in the lake below (we were on the second floor of the restaurant). You should try this restaurant.

Para mi la mejor opción para almorzar en playa blanca, fuimos caminando desde playa blanca escalando la piedra y llegando al restaurante, es mejor llegar temprano porque se llena un poco. La comida deliciosa, pedimos trucha gratinada con Camarón y trucha gratinada con champiñones y la dos estuvieron muy ricas, la atención estuvo bien. En general buena experiencia.

La comida es muy rica, la atención también. sin embargo las sabanas son viejas, deberían actualizarlas. Es muy tranquilo y puede cenar, almorzar o desayunar viendo el espectacular lago. Excelente vista.
