Bertha's Meats - Bowral

Young crowd with good music and good vibes. This place won’t be for everyone. It is a casual bar with laid back service that also happens to serve slow cooked meats. If you like the sound of corn off the cob stuck in your teeth and the brisket melting in your mouth with flavoursome home made BBQ sauce washed down with some craft beers then this place is for you.

Relaxed, up scale, slow cooked carnivore heaven. Brisket was done to perfection on the smoker in the beer garden right by our table. Chicken wings were great. It is tucked out of the way but we'll worth the visit. Prices are at the top end, but it is Bowral and the quality is truly excellent. You won't be dissappointed.

Magz what a legend! We took our bar team here for a late lunch and she was the perfect host. Genuine and friendly she really made our time enjoyable. Food quality was great and presented as intended, the chef certainly did well to dish out the food for the 13 of us in good time as well. Many thanks, I'll be visiting again shortly.

I can't believe this hidden gem didn't have any reviews in Google maps! Maybe because it's next to biota dining. A nice clean place with great meat options. We ordered the meat platter and it was yummmy. The fried chicken was the best. Definitely try it with the blue cheese sauce. The brisket was juicy and I loved the celery and walnut salad. This place is a must go if you are visiting Bowral.

Excellent food, cooked to order, friendly helpful staff. A very nice experience.
