New year eve menu was under average with n gourmet price tag! the waiter service has not tried to pay after our meal had taken.

Lovely food and great beer. Staff were a little pressured but they didn’t annoy by asking how the food was every five mins, so that’s a bonus.

Food was not the best one meal was not eaten as poor quality. Cannot fault the young lady who assisted with our complaint. Before we encountered her the service was slow. Because we were in restaurant we were told we could not order a drink at the bar but the table service was slow waited almost 20 minutes before we ordered a drink.

Table for 6 in dining room. Website states no dogs except in bar area. On entering dogs allowed in dining room. left ours at lodgings) drinks taken orders taken but one item left off chips) food good: onion and cider soup , 2x fish pie includes boiled egg) 1 rotisserie chicken, 1 burger .. piped music a bit overpowering.. service faltered a little but paid up at the till . Would book again as overall we were all happy with our choices ..parking in council car park 59 mtrs behind pub…

Can’t complain … service was lovely and the speciality pie was amazing!
