The Night Cap - Bowling Green

Always a great meal at night cap! The steaks and crab cakes are superb. The wife and I have ate here 15 plus times and it's always amazing! Wait staff is great as well, very attentive.

I wrote a better review about google than I am here. I enjoyed my experience. I might be back in 5 years. the paid prices mean that I should get the best steak that I have ever eaten at the temperature at which I ordered it. I ordered med/med-rare, my daughter ordered med-rare, we both were rare. don't get me wrong, it was delicious, but our two commands were wrong. this was offered during the taste of bg week when they and local restaurants a 3 curs meal for $27. I decided to order the regular menu to get the real feeling because no one will make the decision to come back to their regular menu prices. the table next to us ordered a medium steak from their discount court and sent it back twice, the second time completely refuse. based on other reviews I see here at opentable, they have a problem.

Meh. for the money I'll go back. my steak was over boiled, but I didn't complain when we had a show in the skypac and had no time for them to make it again. my man came beer after his teller was cleaned.

That was our second trip to night cap, probably our last. we had the special 3-course dinner. the salate was a little simple and inconspicuous. it was fresh, but absolutely forgotten. I had the garnel and grits. the griss were really good, the garnels were good. we had the broth basket as extra that he was overpriced and very small and boring. my wife had wrapped the speck sirloin and kartoffeln. it was exactly what they would get in a chain restaurant. it wasn't bad, but not excellent. our friend who had sunk with us had the crabcake. they were expensive and they felt not worth the money. the spade that came with them was overcooked. the best part of the meal was the blueberry cake with maple butter cream. we made the mistake of ordering coffee with it. our server brought the coffee and then we had to wait forever to get the cream because it was far behind. it was ridiculous, and our coffee was cold until his arrival. overall the experience was good, but not worth a return visit.

It took forever to get a drink order. the couple next to us had another waiter and they also waited. the steak was not cooked as ordered and it was extremely difficult for a filet. I was before and the service was slow. there will be no next time.
