Branch On Bowen - Bowen Island

I was sooo pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! It’s part of a gift shop/ice cream shop/and restaurant all in one. I didn’t have any expectations bc I didn’t read any reviews, I just hopped in randomly bc I needed a quick bite before my ferry as it’s right next to the terminal. I had the chicken bowl and wowwwww, it was amazing. The hot sauce was amazing! Even if you don’t like hot sauce just get it and ask for it on the side (trust me). Will def be coming back next time I’m on Bowen Island!

Vegetarian options: Sweet potato tacos are a crowd-pleaser as well as cheese bambino quesadilla.Parking: Limited parking exists which is only a challenge in peak periods in the Summer. The majority of the time there are a few spaces to choose from. There are options around the corner which ends of being a short BUT worthwhile walk.Kid-friendliness: Our kids are always excited to order their favourite taco(s) OR a 'bambino ' quesadilla. Can 't forget the Earnest ice-cream!!

Came to the island for a little hike and got some ice cream at the end. Very cute little place to get a bite at right by the dock. Only got ice cream and it didn’t disappoint. Also several unique flavor and vegan options. It was near the end of the day so they were out of some flavors and cones but that’s to be expected. Shop has some very cute artisan goods in it too.

The lemongrass chicken bowl was amazing. Loved the sauce. Chicken was so tasty!!! My wife got the beef burrito, also a hit!.. so flavourful. We'll be talking about Branch bowls and burritos for a while!...yummm...
