Albergo Trieste - BOVES

Staying in the hotel with lovely rooms we were offered the private dining room for our meal but the main restaurant had such a good fell to it so we declined. Our 4 meals were brilliant, good portions and on ordering the beef marinated and cooked in wine for 5 hours were told 'good choice '. He was right. The local wine was excellent and very reasonably priced. All in all any future trips to Italy will end at the restaurant.

Greeted by a lovely lady and her son Marco, this wonderful little Hotel is the perfect place to stay when visiting Cuneo and surrounding areas. The accommodation is just great and the food also very nice and well presented. Very well priced also considering the standard of the rooms.

We were visiting the area, which is well worth it with places like Asti, Alba, Cherasco etc and found this newly refurbished restaurant in the Albergo Trieste in Boves. We had a wonderful meal, three courses each as good as the other! The prices were extremely reasonable and the wine, although all from a single wine house, was varied, excellent and very well priced. The owner was knowlegeable regarding the wines and helpful when it came to choosing food there was a good selection of fresh local products. Outside there is a lovely terrace and garden, just right for those warm Italian summer evenings good food and a good glass of wine!
