The Curlew - Bournemouth

The curlew could not accept our table reservation through open tables.

Too many flying are in the restaurant until the point of the annoying. as a special eating for my 60th birthday I was very disappointed that I had eaten many years in the flur.

Beautiful garden to enjoy alfresco dining room furniture gets tired no kisses all needs a good clean and the staff seems overstretched, but good for a lunch at the price

Lovely place, friendly staff but a disappointed with the lamb shank as not much meat on the bone albeit maybe I was just unlucky. The flip side was the kids portions were ‘American’ sized which we equally felt was wrong since we wasted so much. Otherwise it was fantastic as usual.

Myself, husband and grandson enjoyed our visit but two things.......firstly our grandson had mushy peas instead of the ordered garden peas and secondly........despite telling the waitress that we were in a hurry we had to wait half an hour after finishing mains before our dessert orders were taken and this was after trying consistently to attract the attention of the waitress. On coffee was ordered and arrived and drunk before the desserts arrived.....should be served after desserts or with!
