Bidra med feedbackProbably the best views from a Bournemouth Eatery with OK food and prices they need to find a way of opening in the evenings with a change of Menu and a Bar would help to keep the store open such a shame if it closes
We paused our shopping with a light lunch in the House of Fraser restaurant, high up, overlooking Bournemouth gardens. My first visit. We ordered panninis and the staff helpfully explained we could have the two panninis deal with fries, for less than the cost of the panninis. Thanks guys! A pot of tea each, a brie and cranberry pannini each, and shared fries. Super views from our window table, friendly service. £14.44 incredible value. For sure, we'll be back...thanks to the lovely staff here. It's high up, so take the stairs if you want exercise...or the lift if not!
Very good for light lunch. Recommend quiche with roasted Mediterranean veg and chicken curry. Friendly efficient service and budget priced.
Good choice of cakes if a little on the expensive side, however, a cream tea is recommended. At £4.50, it is well worth it. Seating area is clean and well lit, with the elevator very close, so wheelchair users would be ok here(restaurant is on the 3rd floor). Window seats look over the Bournemouth centre. Staff are very friendly and the food good.
After a day of shopping at House of Fraser, I usually go to their cafe for a warm meal. Since it's almost Christmas, they are offering Christmas lunch. I decided to try the vegetarian option, which sounded delicious. However, when I asked if the gravy was vegetarian, the answer was no. I was disappointed as a gravy lover, and had to settle for mayonnaise with my Christmas lunch. Not satisfied with this experience, I would not recommend this cafe if you have any dietary restrictions. House of Fraser really disappointed me in this instance.
