Bidra med feedbackWe came to eat good grill as recomnded by freinds to go to one of the restuarnt in Paris. the meat was very bad 'dry and not tasty at all.ecxept the Fille.we were very disapointaed about our visit at the HIPPOPOTAMUS RESTUARANT of GOOD MEAT?????? the service was nice.we were the only people there at thus time.the prices of the meal was to high
Good food, friendly staff, conveniently located in central Bourg la Reine, nice terrasse albeit next to a busy street.
Strongly NOT recommended !!! Very slow service we waitted 1 hour before served. Even the starter Nems which my friend took was cold inside, like just get out from the fridge. The waiters are not kind at all. To avoid this restaurant at Bourg la Reine.
I went to this restaurant many times in 2014 and always had a good experience. The menus has lots of choices of dishes (especially the meats the house speciality , good drinks, tasty desserts as well as some reasonable formulas (about 19 € for starter/dessert main course beverage, or even about 23 € for the full table d'hôte, starter main course dessert beverage . However, it seems to me that in the end of 2014 the restaurant changed the management and is currently a real mess. I've been to it twice since Dec/2014 and it was terrible, especially the last time (Feb/2015 : lousy and slow service, the drinks took so long to be served that the ice was already melted, food was almost cold... Not only that, the waitress tried to justify the huge delays to get us our burgers (it took about an hour or more! : she said the cook let the my burger fall on the floor! =O Several customers complained about the slowness of service and orders coming mistakenly. I wasn't even able to ask for the check after 15 min waiting the waitress to show up! All in all, this used to be very nice with reasonable prices, but lately they're a total wreck and I really don't think I'm going back to this unit in Bourg la Reine. It's a shame!
We find ourselves systematically with family to eat a good holiday return meat abroad. the qualities of meat and service are always as well
