La Cantine - Boulogne-sur-Mer

I visited Boulogne and ate with some friends at La Cantine. It is a casual restaurant and may not look particularly fancy but the food was great. I ate the smoked salmon salad. There was the perfect amount of dressing and the salmon was superb. I would recommend La Cantine to anyone that enjoys good quality ingredients at a good price. Every time I visit Boulogne I will stop by La Cantine.

Sat outside on a nice sunny day and had a lovely lunch of their mixed tapas and a mixed platter together with some very nice local cider and beer. All food was freshly prepared and very tasty and would recommend

To escape unless you want to scare yourself. as his name suggests. in this the sign is not a lie.

We went to family there 1 year ago, it was very nice......We returned there in the early summer of 2013, there we will no longer return. The quantities have decreased by half, even my 10-year-old son has not been satisfied, so useless to talk about our 3 teens! the tartines are simple slices of white bread purchased in large area, the quality of the dishes is poor. In addition, the owner warned us on arrival that he was about to close (it wasn't 20 hours), there were some customers yet. We went to finish shaving ourselves in a very nice crêpery of the old town, and when we returned, around 9:30, the canteen (but I prefer that of the colleges) was always open! and with the same customers??? we were asked at the shops nearby, it would seem that the owner opened his restaurant only so that his friends and him can drink up to thirsty place, the customers are refused

For a budget more than reasonable, you eat at your hunger. You conciled a good meal served by a very friendly host. This place is ideal for students as well as a commercial wishing to eat. It's a treat.
