Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant had only been open 2 weeks at the time of our visit and there were clearly one or two things that weren't quite ready but that really didn't matter. This is a restaurant and what matters most is the food. We weren't sure what to expect. There were things on the menu and on our plates that we had never heard of, let alone eaten before.I had a whole fish with cooked plantain and a kind of spicy vegetable chutney. My partner had chicken. Both were cooked to perfection. The flavours were very unusual to us but wow! It was delicious. The drinks too were strange at first but we really enjoyed them. We tried Bissap (Hibiscus) and tamarind juice. I finished off with a kind of milk pudding made with an African grain, again unusual but really good. The staff too were really friendly and helpful. The young lady that greeted us was keen to explain what they different things were and to suggest what we might try. We were heading home after 2 weeks in France and this was the best meal we'd had in all that time. I really hope these ladies make a success of this and will be visiting again on any future visits to Boulogne.
