Murphy's South On Broadway - Boulder

A great hazy IPA, and a great burger with beyond patty.OK, went back, no more hazy IPA, but s good plain old IPA. Also had a great mushroom burger with caramelized onions and a beyond patty.Boulder Colorado just has that magical feeling . . . Vegetarian options: You can substitute the beyond patty for any of the burgers.

The food is always great here, but in the last three or four visits, service has declined considerably. Having to flag someone to take our order after sitting for 5 minutes to needing to actively get someone's attention to get a drink refill. While the food is definitely great, service has definitely been leaving enough that it'll be a while before we visit again.

It was super delicious! The service and food was amazing! I highly recommend the Vegetable Cashew Stir-fry with chicken! Be warned however, if you order the Hot Wings with spicy bbq, they have habanero in it. Super delicious but spicy!

@murphyssouthboulder for lunch. This place wasn’t even on my radar but I was looking for new places to try in Boulder but outside downtown since I didn’t have time to drive there and look for parking. I’m very glad I found Murphy’s. It was nicely upscale but not intimidatingly so.I started with the crab cakes which was really good. No huge chunks of crab but it was absolutely not full of filler. Great flavor and had a very nice crust.The lamb goat cheese burger was also very good; cooked perfectly. I added the onion rings and I’m ecstatic I did. They were really good.I certainly want to explore their menu so I will absolutely be back.

We really enjoy Murphy's South, our local restaurant, and usually get happy hour appetizers or a full meal here about once a week. The food is consistently good quality (I highly recommend the beef short rib) and the servers are always pleasant. It's a local hangout and we see the regulars at the bar chatting whenever we stop by. Just a nice, pleasant place to have a good meal.
