This location is my favorite place in Santa Cruz County. The staff is very friendly and patient with the customers. I really appreciate that they were able to accuse my only chicken patty order.
Big delicious double burger for an unhearded (in this area) price of about $6-$7. Gigantic (32 oz) real milkshakes, I ordered peanut butter and chocolate mixture and it was so good I drank the whole thing in almost a continuous drawing through the straw and made ecstatic audible moaning sounds pretty much all the time. I'm glad I was alone in my car. The shake was a little more than the burger actually, in the big double-burger and gigantic shake along with the tax came about $14 and some change. From 10-4-22 no indoor eating as the rest of the Kovid thing, only to-go and some outdoor seats.
This place brings back childhood memories. I need to get a dipped cone while you're here. Good old-fashioned road up.
Kids and I sampled some dipped cones, or dipped bowls? They were kind enough to dip our ice cream in a bowl for my young kids. We also used the bathroom which was acceptable. Nice place to stop with traveling down 9. Convent shaded tables are located out front.
