Villa Francesca - Boston

Food and service as outstanding as before. Lobster Fra Diavolo was an impressive dish. Did not care for the basement table versus upstairs. A little claustrophobic.

Awesome meal. We just came back from Florence a few weeks ago and this rivaled the meals we had there!

We are regulars at Villa Francesca because it is always outstanding.

Went there on a recommendation. Almost no one in restaurant upon arrival made me wonder why. Very nice, very small Italian cafe. Four of us my wife and me along with couple friends. Service was actually below 1 star. We saw 3 teenage kids as staff that's it all night. They were completely untrained and somewhat shy. My wife and my friend's wife split the lobster special. My buddy and I both had individual plates. His plate of ravioli was a very small portion. My red snapper was excellent. The women were warned after their said that they'd run out of the large lobster usually served with special. But, they'd make do with two lobster tails. Ladies OK'd substitution. These 3 plates, 2 salads, 1 beer, 3 glasses of wine and cold bread cost us over $330.00! Unfortunately, very disappointed.
