Bidra med feedbackSalmon Aisuru Don: MY GO-TO ALWAYSS! If I had money to spare, I would get this all the time LOL but Tora will satisfy your salmon cravings. The sashimi, salmon belly the minced salmon in one bowl is everything you can ask for it just melts in your mouth.Tokyo Don: I can't really speak for it bc my friend ordered it, BUT it has torched salmon belly, scallops, squid then fish roe in the rice bowl.I will definitely should branch out try other things on the menu after coming here for so long, but I get scared why try something else if the Salmon is always good!
Food (5/5): We got the Wagyu don, Pinku Maki, Sake Aisuru Don, and Toro Sashimi. My favoriye wete the Sake Aisuru Don and Pinku Maki. They were super fresh and delicious. The Wagyu Don and Toro Sashimi were good but not worth the steep price. The Sake Aisuru Don was definitely well worth the price though.Service (5/5): Food came out lightning fast. We ordered and within a few minutes pretty much all our dishes came out. Super efficient. The server was also super friendly, chatted with us, and gave us some local tips.Ambiance (4/5): In the basement, this has an authentic Japanese restaurant vibe. Although not the nicest decorated there is a decent amount of seating. Chairs could be more comfortable. Overall clean restaurant.
All the food we had was really good!! sushi was delicious and fresh and the meats of the don and udon were both really yummy and flavor of the udon broth was really good as well.we went on a wednesday night and it was so packed (the place is pretty small with only a couple tables and the rest is sushi bar seating)! luckily we didn't have to wait tooo too long to be seated, however we waited for a really long time for someone to acknowledge our table/take our order the table next to us that was seated after us got their food before someone even came by our table!that night definitely seemed crazy busy, so I wouldn't discount it too much and definitely will be back again for the food!
Overall: full restaurant on a weekday but not a long wait if at all. Front staff was super inviting followed by extremely passionate chefs who take pride in their craft. The resulting products tasted just as marvelous as the effort put into them. Would highly recommend for the sushi bowl experience. Food: this location reminds me of the Hokkaido fish market sushi bar I went to. They served up an insanely loaded sashimi bowl (Tora Bowl . The highlights were the yellowtail, toro (unsure which , and the normal tuna. Seems like that's they're specialty! The only downsides are the slightly salty salmon roe (I think it was marinated? and the Spanish mackerel (not my style . I also didn't get the shrimp although they didn't allow substitutions even though I was allergic .Ambience/Decor/Service: very simple storefront with not much decorations. The ambience really feels like a hole in the wall sushi bar. The counter isn't too high so you can peek over and see what they're cooking. I smelled some torched foie grad that I wouldn't have known about had I not seen and smelled it!
One of the best sushi I’ve tried in Boston . Had the torch salmon roll and spicy tuna crunch. Loved it so much that j can’t wait to get more. I only wish they had the poke bowls all day long and not just for lunch
