Quattro - Boston

I visited Quattro while in Boston for a few days and decided to try some Italian food in the North End. The restaurant was noisy and the tables were close together, but the food made up for it. The fried mozzarella appetizer was amazing and both my manicotti and my wife's pasta were delicious.

The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere and ambiance. I sat at the bar and ordered a 4 cheese pizza which was really cheesy and had a generous amount of cheese. The 1/2 rotisserie chicken was good, but not the best. The chicken parm dinner was delicious, with a good portion size. I recommend ordering it with extra sauce. The fried calamari was perfect, served with baby octopus and onion rings with a tasty sauce on the side. Overall, it is a good place but the staff should refrain from eating and drinking near the food preparation area while wearing gloves.

I went to Quattro 6 years ago for my birthday and had an amazing dinner. I don't remember the appetizer but the lobster ravioli was so amazing I still talk about it. The wine, the food and service were superior. So, when I spent the day between the farmers market and the North End in the cold and rain I wanted to be warm and have a nice meal. I wandered down the street and decided to go back to the place where I had such a wonderful memory. It was lunch so even though I wanted lobster ravioli I went for the fried zucchini flowers and a margarita pizza. SUPERB! Too much for me to eat by myself so I brought quite a bit home and enjoyed it again. My server was exceptional. Just a very likeable man and very attentive. Clearly takes pride in his service and it was brilliant. I meant to take pictures before I started to eat but I forgot and dove right in. Go there. Enjoy! I know you will have a wonderful experience.

Loved the Pizza, the Lobster Pasta, and the Buratta. They’re so busy and it’s quite compact for seating. Michael the guy is so helpful and cooperative!
