Golden Star Chinese - Boston

Ordered for the first time today and food was delicious! I live in Codman Sq and my usual Chinese restaurant (45 yrs) has gotten terrible since CORVID. I decided to try new places and Golden Chef was delicious and staff very friendly.

Fast service good customer service skills. I got two thingies of chicken wings for my family; Chicken does not taste good, not well cooked. (I don?t eat meat, but my son didn?t eat it 4 others didn?t like it). Pork fried rice was OK, that?s a silent ok. (My dad is the only one that somewhat enjoyed it) I got the shrimp fried rice. It was not cooked and tasted old if that makes sense.

I have been ordering here for quite some time and the past few times I ordered the fried rice (shrimp and pork) has had a weird taste that I cannot describe, almost spoil. Everything else I have ordered has been fine.

The food was very good and tasty and not too pricey. Would recommend 100/10

Excellent food, I'm surprised that the ratings are so low. The staff was very kind and the portions were large. I would definitely recommend getting the mu shi.
