Cafe Landwer Beacon Street - Boston

The hostess was just making up rules on issue vs outside seating “since my open table reservation was under two hours” I couldn’t have an inside table since those were reserved for over two hours. Four booths empty while we sat out in the heat. Food was pretty good, but service was bad.

We had a nice early dinner at Cafe Landwer on a quiet Saturday this summer. It was hot enough that we decided to eat inside, instead of on their nice patio, which we'll try another time. Loved the shakshuka and the pizza, also had a very nice green granita drink. Great service and great food, in a very attractive setting, can't wait to visit again!

We went to the Cafe Landwer in Toronto for breakfast back in May and we really enjoyed it. My family took me to this one in Boston for my birthday this week. The experience was amazing! The harissa fried Jerusalem artichokes with hummus and warm pita were a great appetizer for 4. We each got different meals and the food was fantastic!

The food was great and the hostess was kind and professional even when I saw some people without a reservation give her a hard time for the wait. Everything came out in a timely manner and was great! The only issue I had was the waitress asked us right as we sat down if we were ready to order our entire meal.

We had a lovely lovely lunch with unusual choices. The Shakshuka offered for breakfast was available for lunch. It was great.
