Bulfinch Social - Boston

One of those places that you look at the menu and have a hard time deciding because everything looks good. I went small plates so I could have more variety, but could have gone main and been happy as they sounded fantastic. Good drink options with cocktail and wine checking all the required boxes with both classic and modern options...

Every time I stay here I eat here. Which is rare for me in hotel restaurants. The food is amazing. The executive chef is incredibly dedicated...he literally went to another limit for me this afternoon during his afternoon prep. I am beyond words, and just hope to continue having a hard time getting reservations because they need to stick around here!

Bulfinch Social is an unexpectedly cozy, romantic restaurant right next to TD Garden in The Boxer Hotel. Maybe because they're new or maybe because they're part of the hotel, they weren't packed at all on a Friday night, which allowed for more attentive service. Great service is a rarity for me in Boston, and so I was pleasantly surprised by how attentive the staff were it was slow but I've been to many a restaurant, and busy or slow many just don't care enough to try to earn their tip. The cauliflower was not great too herbaceous and oily and not crispy enough for my liking. The lobster and crab cakes were very good (but I don't know that I've ever had a disappointing crab cake) I would HIGHLY recommend their burger I'm rarely raving over burgers but this one was top notch. The drinks were also pretty awesome I had a traditional French 75 and was told by my dining companion that his drink was delicious (even though I didn't get to try it in a sad turn of events). Cons: Limited menu, pricey . TLDR: This place is worth a stop in, especially if you've got the extra cash flow. It's a pleasant contrast to most of the places around here, which are casual sports bars it definitely fills a gap, but not quite as good as Alcove right on the other side of The Garden. They're open for brunch, too, which makes me want to go back!

Very good bartenders, great menu that changes seasonally. Sets itself apart from many restaurants/bars in the area.

I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a outstanding evening and the venue was certainly one of the reasons for that happy gathering. The crew collaborated in a splendid way, the cooking was yummy and my friends were so cheerful. We shall definitely come back again for more events. thanks very much.
