Legendary place that is hands down the best sub shop in Boston.

Al's......THANK YOU!!!!!! I walked over today from my work, and I was hoping and praying the chicken salad recipe had not changed in the last 15 years. Al's chicken salad was my absolute favorite sub of all time, and I would always get it when I was working as a deckhand for Boston Harbor Cruises. I am SO thrilled to say, it is as delicious as I remembered!!! I love that they don't put celery/raw onions into the mix. It is perfect as it comes, and I had lettuce and tomato onto my roll. The bread is fresh, and the regular/small size is huge! Thank you to all of you for your consistency in flavor, ability to manage a crowd (although I fortunately got right in today, arriving on the earlier side), and your team's welcoming attitudes. Al's still is and always with be the GOAT!!

The best sub-stroke grinder of all time. period. if they move in the opposite of boston to one of their standings, they will not regret it! the best of house cold sub is the chicken salad, while the best hot sub is either the steak bomb or the chicken Arna! al’s team has every chance that you have plans to expand to nyc? you would kill a in this city moderately subs are all too often here happy you!

I've been here for six years. since I've been working on the road. it is still the best subs that I had in my lifetime. steak and cheese or honey ham and cheese. I love more because they can order online, which was not the case precovid. now my manager can cost lunch : .
